Switch your PSP off, and use a USB cable to connect it to your computer. Some people say you're better off if the computer is also switched off, but I honestly don't think it matters. Once they are both connected, switch your PSP on. If you don't have a USB cable you can find one in most electronics/computer supply retail stores for a couple of bucks.

Once the PSP is fully powered up, visit the Settings Menu, and hit X. This tells the PSP to forge a link with the computer, so you may have to wait a minute or two for the "digital handshakes" to be over with. Once they are done getting to know each other, go to your computer and open up the "My Computer" panel. Inside there you should see the PSP appear in the same way a USB zip drive drive or digital camera etc would.

From there all you need to do is double click on the PSP icon inside the "My Computer" panel, and you should see a folder called PSP. Open that folder up, and create a folder inside there called "MP_ROOT", and then one last folder called "100mnv01". You're almost at the end, did I tell you it was easy to watch movies on your PSP

NOTE-You may or may not know already, but to watch movies on your PSP, the movies need to be saved in MP4 format. This is what stops a lot of people, but you can find free software all over Google that can convert existing DVD files into MP4. Just perform a quick Google search and you'll find a ton of them.

4.
Now the very last step in watching movies on PSP is to save the MP4 format movies inside the 100mnv01 folder. Again, this is very simple and can be done through the "My Computer" panel. From there all you need to do is use the PSP to click on the saved movies inside the 100mnv01 folder, and the movies will start to play.
